    Secondary School RSC/PHSE Teacher (Temporary Position)

    We recognize the importance of Relationship and Sex Education (RSC) and Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE) in preparing students for the challenges and opportunities they will encounter in their lives.


    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RSC/PSHE Teacher to join our dynamic faculty on a temporary basis from 15th April until the end of the academic year.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons in Relationship and Sex Education, as well as contributing to our broader PSHE curriculum.

    This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people by equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to make informed decisions and lead healthy, fulfilling lives.

    Plan and deliver age-appropriate and inclusive lessons in Relationship and Sex Education, covering topics such as consent, healthy relationships, sexual health, puberty, and LGBTQ+ issues.

    Work collaboratively with colleagues to integrate RSC/PSHE themes into cross-curricular activities and initiatives, fostering a whole-school approach to personal and social development.

    Address student questions and concerns in a non-judgmental and empathetic manner, respecting individual differences and cultural diversity.
    Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure their well-being and academic success.
    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
    Specialization or significant experience in Relationship and Sex Education and/or PSHE education.
    Thorough understanding of relevant educational standards and guidelines for teaching RSC and PSHE.
    Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the school community.
