About the Role

Salary:
£60-65k (OTE £100k+) + variable package


Working Pattern:
Permanent | Full Time | Hybrid


You will be responsible for deal structuring, agreement negotiations, partnership strategy development, implementation and management and commercial analysis to optimise project business cases.

This includes working closely with colleagues in the Partnership, Sales, and Operations teams, as well as other key leadership figures.

You will also support the business in the development and management of commercial relationships with key suppliers and partners.


This role can be seen as a way to fast-track your career because the intention is to have this individual in a Director role in the next two years.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Analysing and forecasting the best way to approach any given situation during this period of growth. This will be achieved by an excellent riskreward balance accompanied by a strong understanding of both the commercial and economic landscapes of an everevolving market
  • Risk mitigation on all new and existing projects by performing the appropriate due diligence and effectively coordinating the crossfunctional teams within the business. E.g. ensuring the Legal, Finance, and Business Development teams are all working harmoniously.
  • Leading the development and delivery of the company's partnering strategy, by considering the types of partnership which will be most effective in achieving the company's missions.
  • Securing funding and subsidies from government bodies through complex bilateral negotiations working closely with the finance and legal teams to manage the agreement once a subsidy has been secured.
  • Support the delivery of welldefined, financiallyfeasible strategies by providing commercial leadership and expertise for the Partnerships Team.
  • You should lead by example, promote and embed a positive culture across the organisation, and do everything with credibility and integrity. Always having the company's core values at heart.

What you need:


To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrated success in a similarly complex, commercial role, which required you to operate at a senior level.

An individual who has taken accountability for negotiating high-level commercial contracts and maintaining key relationships within the industry.


It would be great if you have experience in:

  • Financial investment and appraisal techniques, project finance, and partnerships in the energy efficiency and/or construction industry.
  • The commercial and business acumen needed to build competitive business cases and bid strategies is essential.
  • Communicating with a variety of people from potential partners and developers to offtakers and influencers. Excellent communication skills will be key to building strong relationships, negotiating contracts and ultimately closing deals.
  • Building and managing highperforming teams who have crossfunctionality throughout the business and can drive innovative solutions and new business opportunities.
