Graduate Manufacturing Engineer

Location:
Peterborough

Salary:
£24,000 - £26,000 + Company Package
Hours: 08:00 AM - 16:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

They are an established manufacturing business that operate within the automotive and motorsport sector and have a strong reputation supplying machined components globally.

The Graduate Manufacturing Engineer will play a key part within the company once trained, and you will ideally have a strong passion for the automotive and motorsport industry.

You will work alongside multiple departments including the design team and manufacturingshop floor.

Your key duties and responsibilities will be:

Write standard operating procedures (SOP) to assist with the builds in assembly, fabrication and composites
Analyse and populate the ERP system
Implement new process improvements to assist with production efficiency and cost savings
Assist with developing tooling, jigs and fixtures
Reduction of waste
Improving bill of material fulfilment and accuracy
