Leicester


Salary:
£24,000 p.a.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week. 1-year fixed term (to be reviewed after 1 year)


You will be part of a team, based in Leicester, delivering high quality housing services on behalf of Housing Cooperatives in the area.

Your role will be working with the Area Manager to ensure 1st class service delivery as part of a team who provide a comprehensive housing service to the largest Housing Cooperative in the

Country (378 Properties).


Job Purpose:

  • The Housing coordinator will be the central point of contact for Sensible Housing Cooperative in delivering an efficient and professional housing management service to tenants, and external stakeholders.
  • Collector and distributor of information (Data management)
  • The Housing coordinator will hold responsibility within the housing team, for the coordination of the collection, reporting and distribution of data and information both internally and to external bodies.
  • Supporting and assisting the wider housing team in delivering services to the 2 housing cooperatives based in Leicester.

Duties:


  • Tenancy Management.
  • Responding to tenants' enquiries.
  • Reporting repairs to properties & Estates.
  • Liaising with repair contractors to ensure works are completed within performance indicators and to a high standard.
  • Effectively dealing with low level antisocial behavior.
  • To manage void and lettings processes in line with contractual obligations and as per client requirements.
  • Ensure customers receive high quality service, by maximising tenant involvement.
  • Be responsible for delivering projects assigned by the Regional Manager.
  • Supporting the production of monthly performance and update reports by effectively liaising with internal and external colleagues.

Skills Required:

  • Welldeveloped team working & customer service skills.
  • Resilience to working in an everchanging environment & a positive attitude.
  • Experience of dealing with the public in challenging situations.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Excellent IT skills (Word and Excel).
  • General building knowledge (desirable).
  • Possess CIH/ARLA qualification or similar, or willing to undertake such qualifications.
  • Excellent work and diary management skills.
