Banking**
Hybrid - onsite 2 days per week in either Copley or Manchester (your choice)

6 months

£550 per day
This role sits within in networking and network compliance.

In short:_ Project Manager with strong IT and Financial Services background required to coordinate change slots for upgrading network devices, agreeing maintenance schedules and planning device remediation. We need someone withexperience of working with 3rd party implementations as engagement with a large, well-known 3rd party will be on a daily basis. _


Role description:


  • Leading a delivery team to ensure the fundamentals of Project Management excellence are achieved, this includes analysis, governance, planning, managing finances & risk and delivering value
  • Understand, embrace and be able to select with confidence the most appropriate tools and methods to deliver change
  • Produce the standard FastPath & Agile artefacts and progressing them through to approval
  • Oversee planning and scheduling
  • Collaborating across multiple divisions and teams to ensure we meet the customers need

Essentials:


  • Experience of the full E2E project delivery, encompassing both business and IT delivery
  • Managing network delivery projects, experience of managing £15M IT projects across large complex matrix managed supply teams and 3rd parties
  • Ability to quickly adapt to external influences that may spectacularly change project direction via impact assessment and controlled change processes
  • Lead backlog reviews and agree priorities with key stakeholders
  • Must be able to communicate complex IT functions into key updates and stakeholder papers
  • Planning of roadmap initiatives, features and enhancements using agile practices whilst considering dependencies, upstream and downstream impacts
  • Natural leader who can collaborate across the project and programme, and mentor other colleagues to develop whilst delivering 'best in class' change
  • Able to convert the complex to the 'simple' being able to digest technical information and present this in a simplified manner
