Responsibilities
Identify, prioritize and develop high-quality software design and architecture in the software development life cycle
Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
Review and debug code
Perform validation and verification testing
Collaborate with our team to fix and improve products, including support junior team members
Work across the stack
Requirements and skills
Proven experience as a Senior backend Engineer
Experience overseeing the architectural development of our backend ecosystem
Open minded attitude, willingness to touch the backend
Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
Knowledge of NodeJS, MySQL, API best practice and optimisation
Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. Firebase/Firestore)
