- Produce detailed 2D CAD drawings and planning drawings on a daily basis
- Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Assist in further development of CAD standards and working practices
- Highly proficient with AutoCAD 2D (essential)
- High level of spoken and written English
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience in ICT or MEP is essential, but candidates with Infrastructure experience will also be considered
- Experience of working on Data Centre and Workplace projects

Are you a talented CAD Technician with a positive attitude seeking a new and exciting opportunity in a supportive work environment?
Join our dynamic and growing design team at 3DEC, a UK consultancy firm with a global presence. We are on the lookout for skilled and experienced CAD Technicians to become integral members of our team on an initial 6-month contract. This is a remote working role offering a competitive day rate and an immediate start.
As a CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in producing detailed 2D CAD drawings and planning drawings for our diverse portfolio of technology projects within the Data Centre and Workplace environments. Working closely with our design team, you'll ensure that all drawings and plans meet our company's high standards and client requirements.
You will also be working within the evolving BIM/CAD Team, assisting in further developing CAD standards and working practices to drive forward the ease and efficiency of creating a consistent, high quality CAD product for our clients. This role also provides the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively, with the potential for exposure and development into Revit.
