Description

A great opportunity to join the world's largest independent company for development, simulation and testing technology of powertrains as a Facilities Technician at their site in Coventry.

What you'll be doing:

Preparation, installation, connection, service, maintenance, calibration of equipment in accordance with given procedures
Manage and control service and maintenance schedules
Procure and manage the equipment and consumables used within the relevant area of responsibility
DIY (Plumbing, Painting, Decorating, Joinery) for all communal spaces
Operation of Facilities plant and equipment and interrogation of site building management systems highlights improvement areas and potential CO2 reduction opportunities
Routine testing and management of a variety of life safety systems including sprinkler and fire alarm systems among others
Supporting key projects, office refurbishments, moves and external ground repairs
Installation of cables including communication and data
Building fabric maintenance, fixtures and fittings repair Mechanical services repair
Respond to callout system for emergencies, security and alarmrelated callouts
Troubleshooting equipment breakdowns, repair or arrange repairs. Record accordingly. Implement improvement / preventative solutions

Skills helpful for the role:

Experience in facility maintenance ideally from the automotive testing sector
Planning and supervising the execution of Facility projects
Qualifications relating to electrical installations (18th Edition, electrical maintenance)
Good knowledge of:
Electrical engineering
Compressed air systems & desiccant dryers
Chilled water systems
Compressed gas delivery systems
Working experience of health & safety management (IOSH)
Previous experience of environmental management systems
Awareness of L8 Legionellosis

What you'll get:
- £32,000 to £48,000 p.a.
