Manchester Local Care Organisation have an exciting opportunity for an Band 6 physiotherapist to join our award winning North Manchester Community Neuro Rehab Team.
The successful candidate will be part of a highly experience dedicated Multi-disciplinary Team and have the opportunity to develop both clinical and leadership skills. They will be enthusiastic and have a passion for delivering high quality services to the population of North Manchester.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for providing specialist complex multifactorial clinical assessments, treatment and advice to patients in thecommunity who are living with neurological conditions.
The individual will manage a clinical caseload of clients, including those withcomplex and highly complex needs with support from the band 7 therapists for highly complex patients and supervise the band 4/3 support staff withcaseload management.
The post holder will work without direct supervision as a lone worker in thecommunity assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and modifyingindividualised treatment programmes in a variety of care settings patients home, clinic setting, residential homes and intermediate care setting for patients with low to highly complex needs.
To provide a comprehensive service the team work on a rota to deliver a 6 day service: Mon- Sat 8:00-16:00. The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle.
