Qualifications Essential Criteria Core profession with valid registration of professional body e.g. RMN, Social Work or equivalent post graduate accreditable qualification CBT, EMHP, CYWP.

Evidence of continuing professional development in the field of child and adolescent mental health Experience Essential Criteria Experience of assessment and delivering evidence based mental health interventions including low intensity cognitive behavioural therapy interventions.

Experience of Multi-disciplinary working within a CAMHS setting. Experience and knowledge of implementing safeguarding procedures for children and adults. Experience in utilising and interpreting routine outcome measures in practice. Experience of peer supervision, supervising colleagues in the multi-disciplinary team and consultation in other agency settings.

Knowledge EssentialCriteria Understanding of child and adolescent development. Knowledge of risk assessment and safety planning. Knowledge of legislation related to children and/or adolescents mental health and social care e.g. Mental Health Act, Child Protection and Safeguarding of Vulnerable Children etc.
