We are looking for an innovative, motivated and experienced Sales Director to lead the growth of our client's B2B Sales.
In this newly created position, you will play a critical role in developing & driving the growth of the business and ensuring the continued success of our client's Sales function.
They are already making moves in the Broadband industry with highly successful consumer sales, now the next step is to break into the B2B market and for you to take on the exciting challenge of growing it from scratch
If you have a passion for business development and are looking for an exciting and challenging opportunity, then this could be the role for you The position will suit an established B2B professional with a proven record of growing sales revenue selling to Mid-large businesses ideally in either Telco, Broadband, IT or Tech.
Duties:
As the new Sales Director, you'll be at the heart of the growth strategy
You'll be responsible for:
- Exploring and pursuing new B2B business opportunities
- Generating leads and closing highvalue deals that enable clients to attract topnotch talent
- Excelling in facetoface client meetings to present and sell our clients product
- Negotiating with confidence and finesse
- Leading from the front as you start this new venture from scratch
- Own & execute Sales plan to include all customerfacing activities
- This role will be based in the North East working remotely however extensive travel to potential new clients is required
Experience:
- Evidence of leading a B2B sales function across multiple service lines
- Solid commercial acumen supported by ability to develop KPI's to drive and manage sales performance
- Strong personal drive and performance management ethos
- Managing & implementing sales processes
- Strong negotiating skills
- Indepth knowledge of procurement drivers and of the selling process
- Excellent commercial skills to develop winning propositions
- Experience of developing multistrand marketing strategies
