    THIS ROLE IS OFFICE BASED IN MANCHESTER

    Graduate Manufacturing Manufacturing Planner role is a critical role in the customer order fulfilment management. Graduate Manufacturing Planner ensures flawless execution by ensuring clear alignment of supply side and inventory planning with customer demand. In this role Graduate Manufacturing Planner will learn and develop and oversees and ensures material planning from both internal and external sources for production readiness and gaining an understanding of demand cycles and constantly changing demand patterns and is constantly engaged cross-functionally with sales, supply chain, production and inventory teams to drive on time delivery.

    Responsibilities

    Order Fulfillment and Capacity

    Ensures material planning actions and parameters are aligned to meet timely fulfillment of customer orders.

    Proactively engages key stakeholders in a timely manner in case of any risk to customer order fulfillment commitments due to material shortages.

    Release production orders in a timely manner to ensure the team delivers on time to the customer.

    Responsible for overall material planning that ensure production readiness.

    Sees the big picture of customer order fulfillment requirements and develops daily and weekly execution plans specifically focusing on material availability both from internal and external sources of supply.

    Understands the order fulfillment needs and critical materials related gaps in fulfilling customer orders in a timely manner.

    Understands demand fluctuations and changing trends; take actions to allocate materials to maximize production capacity utilization.

    Assist supply chain with materials planning forecasts based on customer orders and expected order fulfillment schedules.

    Leads material planning review meetings involving all key stakeholders and provides visibility on demand and potential risks in terms of material availability.

    Planning and Analytics

    Develops ERP system driven planning analytics capabilities that provides full visibility of demand and material availability and further mitigates potential delivery risks.

    Utilize MRP systems or software to generate production requirements based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and lead times. Analyze data and make adjustments to production plans as needed.

    Develops actions plans to mitigate risks if any by collaborating with key stakeholders

    Inventory Analysis

    Reviews inventory performance to ensure inventory levels are optimal and supports overall material planning requirements to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner.

    Develop and implement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels that are consistent with customer demand patterns.

    Regularly review safety stock levels, for both purchased and manufactured/WIP parts to ensure they are consistent with overall material planning requirements.

    Qualifications & Experiences

    Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

    Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting techniques.

    Excellent understanding of materials planning and inventory management principles.

    Must be proficient in using inventory management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, ideally LN or similar such as SAP, CMS etc

    Must be proficient with Microsoft Office with advance data organization and analytics capabilities in Excel.

    Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

    Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

    Knowledge of lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
