- Band 4 - £13.16 per hour
- 36 hours per week
- Standard hours Monday - Friday

- EITHER hold a level 4 qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent PLUS a minimum of one years' relevant recent experience, OR have three years' relevant recent experience
- The post holder will be required to hold a full driving licence and travel to sites across Belfast
- Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting checks including an Access NI check before commencement in role
- The post holder will be responsible for providing event management support for College commercial events and commercial activity
- Responsible for Event marketing and management for commercial and events activity
- Event support for commercial and College activities
- Support in sourcing, executing and recording commercial and events activity business opportunities
- Lead responsibility for providing advice, support and direction to staff across all departments on Commercial and College events.
- Responsible for the creative direction of all events in line with customer requirements and liaison with suppliers when required.
- Responsible for all internal briefings of College staff in relation to event format, roles and key duties
- Handle all client queries to ensure that all events run smoothly and in line with event guidelines and procedures
- Develop strong working relationships within the Business Development and college- wide support departments to ensure that the unit objectives are met.
- Ensure that all work and output is of the highest quality following all standards as set by the Commercial and Events Manager
- Remain up to date and informed of the College, its strategic directions, its commercial objectives and opportunities
- Identify and secure potential new business development opportunities and work to an annual income generation target as agreed with the Commercial and Events manager.
- To respond to event related tenders and to produce detailed, accurate and timely quotations for all events business enquiries and ensure these are managed accordingly.
