    Description

    Our Newport Supported Housing Accommodation is looking for a Positive, engaging, and passionate individual to join its team as a Project Worker working with Children/adolescent and families.

    At Clifton Place you would be working with a diverse group of people, ranging from families, young people, pregnant women, individuals with physical disabilities, mental health issues and substance misuse, and individuals who have been trafficked from the other side of the world.

    Every day is different and every day you would learn new skills and have the opportunity to work with a variety of agencies such as social services, health visitors and community nurses.

    As a Project Worker you will lead each shift by delivering support to the individuals at the service, managing the scheme and overseeing the Scheme Support Officers.

    *Writing and following a support plan with the individual you are supporting

    • Delivering workshops relating to tenancy management and health and wellbeing
    • This is a challenging role and you will be faced with complex behaviours and needs, including alcohol misuse, mental health, substance misuse and physical disabilities. Competitive salary of £25,486.Full-time 37hrs, Permanent position
    • Work Pattern: The scheme is covered 24 hours, 7 days a week so you would be expected to work on a 5-week rolling rota which would involve: day shifts, evening shifts, weekends & sleep ins
    • 26 days (pro rata) holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays
