    Clean Air is fundamental to Johnson Matthey and projected to remain the largest business for years to come, supporting the growth of Hydrogen Technology and Catalyst Technology. It comprises c.5,300 employees, spread across 13 manufacturing sites, from Japan, China, and India, through to the US, Mexico, and Argentina.

    It's an exciting time to be joining Clean Air. Chief Executive, Anish Taneja, has revamped the leadership team and launched a With, Around and Beyond strategy to restore profitability. Now Clean Air is looking to go further still, with increased interest from investors recognising the longevity of the business.

    Your responsibilities:

  • Input and help shape Clean Air's annual Communications Framework (plan)
  • Bring your ideas and energy, where the expectation is a break from the norm
  • Empowered, although supported, to deliver a series of key initiatives and activities that create impact
  • Create clear, concise, compelling content across a range of formats – written and visual; digital and physical
  • Manage core channels, such as our thriving Viva Engage community – Airwaves – our studio webcasts – Airwaves Live - SharePoint Fresh, Microsoft Stream, and DotDigital etc.
  • Coordinate work with approved JM third party suppliers and agencies, including event, film production and design
  • Liaise and collaborate with colleagues in the central Group Communications team, to ensure brand compliance and visual standards, and to surface success stories within group channels
  • Requirements for the role:

  • Strong communication skills both verbal & written
  • Experience of managing a project either locally or globally
  • Ability to work with senior leaders. Candidate will need gravitas, ability to make a positive impression and work collaboratively with leadership teams
  • Ability to work in global teams, build relationships and networks across Clean Air and JM
  • Fluency in English
  • A self-starter, able to work remotely without close supervision
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced, changing environment
