We're hiring a Warehouse Operative to join our friendly team.

Working pattern (1 hour lunch):

Monday to Friday (1 in 3 Saturdays)
Early shift: 4am to 1pm (flex)

Here's what the role entails:

Operate a Fork Lift Truck (FLT) to move pallets and rearrange stock, ensuring products are stored safely and labelled correctly.
Pack orders using a packing machine/conveyor line.
Ensure orders are packaged and labelled correctly to prevent returned orders.
Load HGVs for outgoing deliveries.

We are looking for the following characteristics and skills from you:

Good carpet, flooring, and wholesale industry knowledge (desirable)
Knowledge of our competitors, and our group companies (desirable)
Basic knowledge and understand of general Health & Safety
Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre
Manual dexterity able to meet the physical demands of the role
Ability to work in a fastpaced and resultsdriven environment
Excellent customer service skills
