CNC Turner Programmer Setter – Dayshift

My client, a leading engineering company based close to High Wycombe are looking to recruit a CNC Turner Programmer Setter on a permanent basis. The role will be working on a day shift covering 40 hours per week.

Main duties:

• To set, operate and program CNC Mazak Integrex Lathes.
• Be a competent programmer using Mazatrol (Matrix & Smooth controls) or be willing to learn given the right training.
• Have the ability to program / edit and prove out new CNC programs.
• 1st off and in-process inspection ensuring quality of parts is of required standard.

Experience:

• Experienced CNC Turner.
• Have a minimum of 2-3 years programming experience.
• Mazak / Mazatrol desirable but full training given for candidates willing to learn with a solid background within CNC Turning
• Problem solver.
• Self-motivated.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday with a 13.30 finish on Fridays covering 40 hours a week. In addition, overtime will be available.
