The Workplace Project Manager will lead and manage the successful delivery of property projectsand activity associated with the Workplace Programme.
The Role - Project Manager
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced
Project Manager to join us for a
12-month fixed term opportunity.
Working within Sovereign's Workplace programme team, you'll initially support the planning, design / fit out and delivery phase of our operational properties in our South Region (Christchurch and Blandford).Depending on project timelines, you will be asked to support across the workplace programme and work across projects as required.
The Workplace Programme is a core element of our corporate plan.The key objective of the programme is to rationalise our building estate and provide modern, digitally connected workspaces to support effective and efficient customer service delivery.
As a
Project Manager, you will be leading the design, costing/tendering and planning to define and approve the delivery of our new Operational Hubs and then managing contractors and colleagues to deliver these properties.
We can be flexible on your base location, however there will be a requirement to work from our Basingstoke head office once a week.
What we're looking for
You'll need to be an experienced Project Manager, ideally with experience in commercial property, property fit-out or surveying
You'll also need:
- The ability to develop our requirements into a Design Brief for the architectural designs and the fitout of the new hubs
- Experience in managing cross functional teams, integrating the different organisational and operational requirements to deliver a new workplace environment that supports business needs
- A track record in ensuring projects are well managed, complying with both Sovereign's project framework and the standards set by the Workplace Programme; working to deadlines and commitments
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with internal partners and third parties
