Civil Infrastructure Engineer Position Overview
Design and prepare highway designs including vertical and horizontal geometry. Highways and Drainage design experience (S278, 38, 104).
Mentoring and assisting Graduate Engineers where required.
Design and prepare drawings for surface water, sewer networks and external ground levels in the residential and commercial sectors.
Preparing technical schedules.
Work with specialist software for drainage and infrastructure designs including AutoCAD, PDS, and Microdrainage/Windes.
Embracing CPD, self-learning and personal development.
Represent Eastwood at meetings with the client, other professionals and suppliers.
Ensure project work is carried out within agreed deadlines and within budget.
Communicate with Directors on relevant service/design decisions and the objectives of the company and the client are achieved.
Ensuring that appropriate service/design decisions are met.
Coordinate your work with other members of the project team and ensure all relevant staff are informed of client matters.
Civil Infrastructure Engineer Position Requirements
Education: BSc or MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
Certification: Chartered or working to chartered status with ICE.
Experience: Infrastructure Design experience, Residential Infrastructure Design experience, Drainage and Highways design to adoptable standards (S38, S278, S104, S206), 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
Civil Infrastructure Engineer Position Remuneration
Salary: £30k - £55k DOE
