- Preparation of flowers, creating hand-tied bouquets and arrangements
- Greeting and assisting hotel guests and walk in customers, to ensure they receive the highest level of customer service
- Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of hotel and event installations
- Taking customer payments using the POS system
- Ensuring the shop area is clean and tidy at all times
- Administrative checks on quality and stock, as required
- Assisting with other ad hoc duties, as required
- Well presented with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team, building relationships with colleagues and customers
- Availability to work during peak periods
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and undertake some manual lifting.
- £25,000-27,000 per year

Description
We are looking for florists to join us in our flower shop which is based in a beautiful London hotel.
There is a full time employee role available, as well as opportunities for freelance florists with a commitment to work 2+ days per week over the next 3+ months.
Both roles will be working on a rota basis that includes some evenings and weekends.
Main Responsibilities:
Requirements
You will be a reliable and organised individual with a minimum of one year's floristry experience. At times you will be working in the shop unsupervised so we're looking for individuals with the confidence and skills to work independently.
Skills required:
As part of our selection process, we require candidates to attend a 2-hour workshop where you will be asked to demonstrate your floristry skills such as hand-tied bouquets and vase arrangements.
