Description

An Accounts Assistant is being recruited for the Outsourcing Team of a large and established accountancy practice specialising in agricultural/farming clients based in Salisbury.

As Accounts Assistant you will have a wide range of responsibilities:

  • Preparing aannual financial statements including statutory accounts, partnership accounts, sole trader accounts and trust accounts
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, visiting client premises to undertake on site accounting work
  • On occasions prepare and input client transactions and prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts, VAT returns, Intrastat and EC Sales Lists


You will need to have strong academics studying AAT, ACCA or ACA and have evidence of suitable work experience ideally within a practice.

Good knowledge of IT would be essential, particularly Excel, and an understanding of cloud accounting packages such as Xero or Exact would be an advantage.
