The town of Borkum is looking for the nextpossible date for a

IT specialist for systemintegration (m/f/d)

full-time (39 hours perweek).

YOUR TASKS INCLUDE, AMONG OTHERS

• Administrative tasks in theentire area of IT/EDP for the town of Borkum (town hall, daycarecenter, youth center, elementary school, fire department, buildingyard, sewage treatment plant)
• Installationand implementation of new hardware and software
• Ensuring network and IT system security as well ascomponent support
• Working on the continuousdevelopment of the IT infrastructure
• Supporting and assisting the IT users of the city of Borkum
• Maintenance and updating of the City ofBorkum's online presence
• Ensuring dataprotection, data security and data integrity

WE EXPECT

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for systemintegration (m/f/d) or equivalent skills and knowledge
• Knowledge in the following areas:
  • Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, Active Directory
  • Veeam Backup & Replication
  • VMWare
  • SophosFirewall
  • Networks, e.g. VLAN, LAN,switching, routing
  • IT security
• Communication skills, ability towork in a team, flexibility and resilience
• Analytical mindset and organizational skills
