Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant for Child with SEN and Behaviour Challenges

Location:
Keynsham


Salary:
£90+ per day


Responsibilities:


  • Provide oneonone support to the student, helping them stay on task and engage with the curriculum
  • Implement behavior management strategies, ensuring a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to create individualized education plans and monitor progress
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on the student's progress and wellbeing
  • Assist the student in transitioning back into the mainstream classroom, providing support and encouragement every step of the way

Requirements:


  • Experience working with children with special educational needs and behavior challenges
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
  • A relevant qualification in education or a related field
  • Enhanced DBS check
