- Identify customer requirements
- Assist with spare parts selection.
- Design systems and products
- Read design specs and technical drawings
- Creating project plans and circuit diagrams using computer-assisted engineering and design software.
- Estimating costs and project timings.
- Manage projects and deliver them on time
- Making sure projects meet safety regulations.
- Attending meetings, writing reports and giving presentations.
- Providing technical assistance.
- Problem-solving and analysis of issues.
- Assess the tools and information required to develop solutions
- Proven expertise as an electrical engineer
- Hands-on experience using design and calculation software
- Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
- Knowledge of heating and ventilation is beneficial
- Attention to detail
- Strong organisational and communication skills.

Electrical Engineering Manager - leading UK commercial water heating products & systems manufacturer, part of an international group

With a view to succession planning, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager.
Suitable candidates should have a successful track record in a similar electrical design/engineering role. Experience within commercial, industrial or process industries with a water heating products or system manufacturer or something closely related is naturally beneficial but not essential. We're looking for individuals with a good understanding of all aspects of Electrical Engineering and a strong technical appreciation as follows:
