    Electrical Engineering Manager - leading UK commercial water heating products & systems manufacturer, part of an international group

    With a view to succession planning, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager.

    Suitable candidates should have a successful track record in a similar electrical design/engineering role. Experience within commercial, industrial or process industries with a water heating products or system manufacturer or something closely related is naturally beneficial but not essential. We're looking for individuals with a good understanding of all aspects of Electrical Engineering and a strong technical appreciation as follows:

    Responsibilities

    • Identify customer requirements
    • Assist with spare parts selection.
    • Design systems and products
    • Read design specs and technical drawings
    • Creating project plans and circuit diagrams using computer-assisted engineering and design software.
    • Estimating costs and project timings.
    • Manage projects and deliver them on time
    • Making sure projects meet safety regulations.
    • Attending meetings, writing reports and giving presentations.
    • Providing technical assistance.
    • Problem-solving and analysis of issues.
    • Assess the tools and information required to develop solutions

    Requirementsandskills

    • Proven expertise as an electrical engineer
    • Hands-on experience using design and calculation software
    • Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
    • Knowledge of heating and ventilation is beneficial
    • Attention to detail
    • Strong organisational and communication skills.
    • Degree in Electrical Engineering discipline preferable.
