We're building our LINQ platform as a hardware and software platform.This allows us to simplify everyday automation tasks, while supporting more advanced paths for specialised workflows, in a fast, flexible, and cost-efficient way.
We are looking for a Staff Engineer whose mission is to be the technical leader who specifies and communicates the technical deliverables for our project delivery in our Instruments team.
Automata's engineering team is growing to meet the increased demand for our LINQ automation platform from our customers in the life-sciences industry.
We need highly skilled and experienced engineers to capture customer requirements, guide our customer projects and Product Engineering teams toward suitable solutions at the intersection of hardware and software in the life-sciences automation space.
Help build and strive for a psychologically safe environment for the teamCommunicate gaps and risks in the platform to relevant owners and stakeholders
Work closely with project managers to plan engineering activities, identify resource requirements and technical risks
Break down system requirements into discrete engineering tasks
Work with Engineering Managers to prioritise engineering activities and secure the required resources
Previous experience leading and developing software solutions on complex projects
Proficient with technical writing and reporting
