Senior Accountant Required

Up to £45K DOE
We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join a established accountancy practice based in Leigh On Sea.

Regular team eventsResponsibilities:

Managing a portfolio of clients, including preparation of accounts and tax returns, providing tax planning advice, and managing client relationships.

Managing and mentoring a team of junior accountants, providing guidance and support where necessary.
Ensuring that all work is completed accurately and to a high standard within strict deadlines.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and identifying opportunities for business development

Requirements:

ACA/ACCA/AAT part qualified or fully qualified with at least 3 years UK accountancy practice experience (QBE will also be considered).

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Strong technical accounting skills, with a good understanding of accounting standards and tax legislation.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
Experience of managing and mentoring junior members of staff.
