The Opportunity:

Finatal are working with a very sought after growth private equity investor looking for a Investment Associate to join the team. With an incredibly strong track record, they are keen to onboard a high potential and driven individual from an accountancy background to lead and strengthen the finance function.

You will be responsible for:

• Identifying and sourcing potential investments for the fund.
• Financial modelling, preparation of internal memos on investment opportunities, commissioning and overseeing the provision of third-party due diligence reports, negotiation of legal documentation.
• Portfolio monitoring and preparation of reports on portfolio performance.

They are looking for:

• 3–5 years' experience in corporate finance or a lower mid-market private-capital fund
• Accounting qualification (ACA or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong academics (top university and a 2.1 as a minimum)
• Familiarity with the private-equity deal process and strong deal execution background
• A commercial mindset, with a willingness to get hands-on and hit the ground running.
• Being comfortable operating with a high level of responsibility and autonomy in a small team
