- Identifying and sourcing potential investments for the fund.
- Financial modelling, preparation of internal memos on investment opportunities, commissioning and overseeing the provision of third-party due diligence reports, negotiation of legal documentation.
- Portfolio monitoring and preparation of reports on portfolio performance.
- 3–5 years' experience in corporate finance or a lower mid-market private-capital fund
- Accounting qualification (ACA or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong academics (top university and a 2.1 as a minimum)
- Familiarity with the private-equity deal process and strong deal execution background
- A commercial mindset, with a willingness to get hands-on and hit the ground running.
- Being comfortable operating with a high level of responsibility and autonomy in a small team
