    Job summary

    Providing maternity cover for the role of Project Support Officer within the Strategy PMO, assisting the administration of its programmes and projects. Provide administrative, organisational and analytical support to the project managers throughout the different delivery phases of the project lifecycle.

    Main duties of the job

  • Work with project managers to provide support to projects, including:
  • work with project managers to devise and schedule project board meetings, provide room bookings (where required), refreshments, equipment and speakers.
  • ensure that all project board materials are produced in a timely manner ahead of the meetings.
  • ensure project board action logs are maintained and any actions progressed.
  • document any actions and decisions from the project boards.
  • create, update and maintain project SharePoint folders adhering to the prescribed project standards for folder structure, file-naming conventions and version control.
  • Provide administrative support for the following boards: Business Case Review Group Opiate Safety Group Meeting

    Qualifications

    Essential

  • GCSE English & Maths or equivalent
  • Evidence of ongoing personal development
  • NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent Experience
  • Desirable

  • PRINCE2 Foundation
  • Experience

    Essential

  • Experience of hot to plan and organise multiple activities or projects which require formulation and/or adjustment
  • Experience of note-taking in meetings
  • Evidence of delivering to tight deadlines
  • Desirable

  • Experience of working in the NHS or pubic sector organisations
  • Experience of working in a project based role
  • Knowledge

    Essential

  • Knowledge of how to manage competing priorities in own workload
  • Ability to write and edit accurate content
  • Familiarity with MS based software
  • Desirable

  • Knowledge of PRINCE2 or other project methodologies
