Hotel Receptionist
Newly opened and fully refurbished, we offer 95 stylish bedrooms, a new destination Restaurant and Bar and Wellness facilities.

This is a great opportunity to join our fun and enthusiastic Hotel team


As Hotel Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for all guests arriving at the hotel and be responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of customer service is delivered at all times.


Key Duties of this role:


  • Registering hotel arrivals ensuring that all documentation relating to registration is per standard of procedure.
  • Communicating all relevant information professionally and accurately with all guests and colleagues.
  • Answering the switchboard in a warm and welcoming manner and dealing with all guests' requests/queries in a polite and attentive manner.
  • Taking reservations and administering all reservations, cancellations, and noshows in line with company policy.
  • Assist guests and visitors with special requests including but not limited to; wake up calls, travel arrangement, making reservations and providing information about the local area.
  • Dealing with all guests checking out from the hotel and handling all billing and charges as per standard of procedure.
  • Dealing with any complaints or issues in a timely and professional manager escalating any serious matters to a member of the management team.
  • Liaise with Housekeeping team to ensure rooms are available for check in communicating any special requests.
  • Deal with any other reasonable request from management.
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in a reception or administrative position.
  • Excellent communication skills with a pleasant telephone manner
  • Confident in engaging with customers
  • Efficient, well organised and able to multitask effectively.
  • Computer literate, preferably with Hot Soft, or other similar hotel systems.
