    Electrical Contract Manager

    £55,000 to circa £70,000 D.O.E

    West Midlands with National Travel

    A well established M&E construction specialist, based in Wednesbury, West Midlands, are looking for an experienced Electrical Contract Manager to join their business due to continued strong growth.

    This role will suit an experienced Technical Contract Manager or Electrical Projects Manager, with a strong technical background from within Electrical construction arena.

    You will be working predominantly in large industrial environments (sheds etc) and offices within these spaces.

    Role & Responsibilities

    • Organizing, coordinating, controlling and supervising all electrical installation and refurbishment activities on sites
    • Working on Commercial and Industrial projects up to £2Million (Typical project value between £0.5Mill - £1.5Mill)
    • Implementing all projects and assigned tasks from start to finish, in line with agreed dates
    • Ensuring effective management of workforce personnel
    • Justifying all other resources such as materials, tools, equipment's etc. and reporting any shortages
    • Ensuring correctness of estimated cost for works to be executed on all jobs, in order to eliminate any chance of losses
    • Preparation and submission of quotations and variation costs
    • Supervision of both in-house teams and subcontractors
    • Ensuring regular site inspection to ensure highest standard of work
    • Submission of Periodic Progress Reports
    • Preparation of programmes, method statements and risk assessments.

    Candidate Profile

    • Must have strong Electrical installation experience
    • Good commercial acumen as will be controlling finances on contract – No direct P&L responsibility however an understanding is advantageous
    • Supervisory and leadership skills and experience
    • Team building skills
    • Knowledge of design principles
    • Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge
    • Hold a valid driving license

    Benefits Summary;

    Salary of up to circa £70,000
