We are looking for a Control Room Operator to join us at our client site in London.

Our client is one of the largest pedestrianised communities around, with modern offices, retail, food and drink outlets all in one place.

Alongside this are modern gardens giving the site a unique feel.

As a Control Room Operator you are an integral part of the team and you can make an impact with your skills to protect, deter and respond to any security matters, whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience.

A typical day in the life as a Control Room Operator:

Deliver a professional command and control service
Provide immediate support to Estate and Building Teams to mitigate risk.
Trust you instinct and report anything suspicions, out of the ordinary or unusual.
Manage contractor movement and be aware of work permits including lone worker supervision
Control roombased keys and assets such as radios and equipment with MyTag
Manage and ensure all lone workers are monitored and managed thoroughly throughout their shift
Issue site radios allocated to the building always using MyTag
Liaise with COLP (City of London Police) and all blue light agencies when required
Follow the BL (British Land) data request policy
Produce daily security reports as directed, always keep notes and relay messages clearly.
Provide accurate and timely early warning of risks to the sites assets and people
Complete and satisfactorily achieve annual skills assessments for the role
Control interface between Property Management and retailers and contractors
Ensure all training is completed on time
Produce daily/weekly reports as required relating to the activities of your area of responsibility
Manage, mitigate and when required investigate all incidents including gathering electronic evidence

Experience in a security environment is beneficial but not essential, we are willing to put the time and resource into someone who may be recently licensed to give you the first step you might need.
