The Group Scrum Master for the Retailer Systems Group, part of our Global Customer Care function, will be fundamental to the delivery of our Modern Luxury Customer Care capability to actively manage client support across the physical retailer & digital eco-system_.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities


As group Scrum Master for the Retailer Systems Group, you will be someone who removes impediments escalated by squads to the group, helps the group improve over time to reach high performance, and builds key relationships with other groups internal and external to the domain.

You will protect the group from unrealistic expectations, coach the group Squad on becoming self organised, and co-ordinate interdependencies in delivery to ensure alignment on progress and impediments.

You will also support Squad SM's when needed, attend & participate/ facilitate all group level ceremonies, and coache the Group PO on their responsibilities such as:

Maintaining a healthy capability & Feature(MBI) backlogs/ portfolio plan, Clearly cascading information to all squads in the group, Facilitating stakeholder engagement as needed to assist the PO.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Essential:


  • An understanding of agile principles and practices
  • Experience of managing complex Projects/Products across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Excellent organisational and facilitation skills
  • Experience leading and coaching team transformations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business and commercial acumen

Desirable:


  • Previous experience as an agile practitioner who has managed scrum teams
  • An understanding of Agile values, principals, practices and methods, particularly scrum
  • Practical experience of servantleadership in agile teams
  • Experience of and/or certification in agileatscale framework e.g. SAFe
