CNC Machinist Required.

Our client is a well-established, world class specialist gear manufacturer of high precision ground gears, who have been trading since the 1980's.

They are manufacturers of large and small external gears from 10mm to 2500mm in diameter and from 40mm diameterto 1250mm diameter for internal ground gears.

Following a large period of growth, they now have several exciting opportunities for CNC Machinists.

These roles would be ideal for someone who has experience working on CNC Machines and who want to progress their skills and grow their potential.

These rolesinclude:

CNC Milling
CNC Turning

Grinding

External and Internal
Gear Grinding
Fitting.

CNC Machinist - Position Requirements

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:
Proven CNC Machinist experience
Apprentice Trained/Time served engineer
Capable of setting and operating 2 & 3 axis CNC Machines using Fanuc controls if applicable
Previous background of machining components for high profile industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Medical or any other advanced manufacturing sectors
Comfortable performing multiple set ups per day
Confidence in performing selfinspection of parts using manual measuring equipment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Worked with small to medium batch sizes
Work to tight machining tolerances
