Job Description:


At Informa Tech, we offer a wide range of media solutions that help our clients grow and expand their sales revenue and profits.

Our media solutions are tailored to meet the specific needs of businesses operating in the AI, IoT, and Quantum Computing markets.

By selling integrated marketing programs that include branding, lead generation, and content services, we help our clients to effectively reach and engage their target audience.


You will be responsible for identifying new prospects, growing a sales pipeline, building relationships, servicing, and renewing existing sales, for the Informa Tech AI business brands, AI Business.

IoT World Today, Enter Quantum and VisionAires.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

  • Full customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize revenue/profit
  • Selfstarter who can work independently while also knowing when and how to successfully collaborate with peers
  • Researching prospective clients and building strategic action plans to win new and existing business
  • Building and executing a retention and new business development strategy to grow and expand within new and existing Customers including upselling and crossselling
  • Building and maintaining strong longterm agency and client direct relationships
  • Planning, developing, and managing Customers' digital media strategy based on their focus, challenges and KPIs
  • Post-Sale
  • Position and Report on web performance metrics and results
  • Analyze digital campaigns success or failure sharing the results internally and externally
  • Achieving revenue targets, proactively responding to inbound inquiries and selfgenerated leads based on a market and product understanding
  • Reporting accurate sales territory forecasting and performance metrics to key stakeholders, highlighting revenue risks and opportunities
  • Coordinate with colleagues working across the organization on the same account to ensure consistent service
  • Service multiple Customers concurrently, meeting and exceeding goals and deadlines
  • Keep Customer information/records up to date such as interactions, transactions, account plans and record on the Informa CRM system.
  • Liaise with colleagues to keep your knowledge of new and existing products, services and solutions up to date
  • Share news and insight with all internal colleagues
  • Proactively develop yourself, keep abreast of the changing landscape and have a personal development plan utilizing the Informa Tech Sales Excellence Competencies.

  • Attend key Informa and industry relevant competitor events.
  • Represent the brand as a champion leading from the front
  • Meets daily and weekly targets for sales calls and call reports.
  • Works with Sales Director and the team of Sales Managers to help drive team goal achievement

Qualifications:


Knowledge & Skills

  • Industry Knowledge and expertise of Digital, Media, Consulting, Research and Marketing products, solutions, and services.
  • Ability to be resourceful, selfmotivated, and quick to assimilate information. Highly developed business acumen including the ability to understand the wider issues of the industry.
  • Review/manipulate data to draw conclusions and actionable takeaways.
  • Effective Communication Skills, confident in articulating and presenting complex ideas and proposals to multiple stakeholders both internally and externally from staff to C-Level management.
  • Effective use of common sense and judgement.
  • Understands and drives the numbers to achieve targets, the ability to work to budgets.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail

Sales Expertise

  • Previous experience selling integrated media solutions including webinars, virtual events, content syndication, marketing services, research and more.
  • 3+ Years sole management of a sales territory in which goals were met or exceeded
  • Expertise in multiple Sales Methodologies
  • Proven negotiation experience and the ability to obtain agreement from multiple parties throughout the entire sale process
  • Strong writing skills
  • The ability to sell business solutions in the IT B2B marketplace
  • Strong relationshipra
