The Company provides a turn-key service from in-house design, manufacturing and planning to site management and installation. Mivan's facilities include a 110,000 factory located in Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland, equipped with the very latest design and manufacturing technology.

Due to growth, the opportunity has now arisen for a highly motivated and experienced person to fill the following position, based at our Head Office in Antrim:


Purchasing Assistant


The Purchasing Assistant will assist the Purchasing team in all aspects of the purchasing process and provide efficient administrative support to the Purchasing Department.


To participate fully in all training provided whether on or off-the-job and work diligently towards the achievement of the skills, knowledge and qualifications required to become a proficient Senior Buyer within the Purchasing team.


Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with the sourcing and procurement of materials and services.
  • Assist with the processing of requisitions and purchase orders to ensure competitive procurement and timely delivery as directed.

Assist with managing the supply chain and ensure that materials & services are sourced in compliance with specifications and from approved suppliers.


  • Complete all tasks in compliance with the Company's Quality Management System.
  • Work diligently towards developing the skills, knowledge and expertise to progress within the department.
  • General admin as required within the department including but not limited to: Running Reports, Requisition & PO processing, Invoice Query resolution.
  • To participate fully in all training and development activities and attend all related courses.
  • Ensure the purchasing IT system is maintained with accurate data to produce meaningful reports and information.
  • Undertake any other duties and projects allocated, which are within the individual's sphere of knowledge, experience, or competency.
