    Senior Regulatory Toxicologist (Flexible UK Location)
    Do you have regulatory toxicology experience with a specialisation or degree in toxicology, chemistry, biology or related discipline? Have you got strong skills in project management including organisational and prioritisation capability?

    Join our Health Sciences team as our new Senior Regulatory Toxicologist and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.

    As our new Senior Regulatory Toxicologist you will contribute to the design and management of toxicological programmes for innovative projects in the field of food and consumer product safety.

    We will consider remote/hybrid working as an option with a willingness to travel for internal/external meetings.

    Take responsibility within your project team for, and oversee the input of, toxicological data summaries and data interpretation into regulatory systems such as IUCLID or EFSA Portal and its submission to regulatory agencies or to clients;

    Work with other specialists as part of multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver technical work including: Preparation of human health exposure modelling, risk assessments, study summaries, waivers and other regulatory documentation as required.

    Assist with the completeness/quality review of scientific data according to current European Regulations, Directives and guidelines and provision of general regulatory and scientific consultancy to clients as required.

    Peer review of summary dossiers and regulatory documentation prepared by other Ramboll consultants.
    Support members of your project team and colleagues with any project issues they may encounter and in providing advice to clients

    Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the current and future regulatory landscape, attending conferences to keeping up to date with developments in the appropriate laws and guidance.

    Provide support to business development activities by providing industry expertise when needed during visits to clients, through discussion and responses to new project briefs and administration

    You will be part of a growing team of Product Safety and Stewardship specialists, delivering key knowledge to a range of Ramboll projects.

    Our health scientists characterise and effectively communicate potential hazards and risks from chemicals and product uses and identify options for safe, state-of-the-science stewardship.

    Our successful global track record includes evaluations and stewardship for chemical producers, food and food packaging, building materials, toys, cosmetics, aerospace manufacturing, medical device and electronic device manufacturing, and pesticides/biocides.

    Specialisation or degree in toxicology, chemistry, biology or related discipline
    A higher degree in toxicology, such as a MSc and/or PhD equivalents
    Relevant regulatory experience preferably in food and/or consumer product safety
    Experience in writing toxicological reports for stakeholders
    Skills in chemical read-across would be beneficial
    A basic understanding of QSAR, new approach methodologies, toxicological study monitoring
    Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English; additional languages would be an asset
