- Supervise all work carried out with ionising radiation and to assist the employer in ensuring that all such work is carried out safely, legally and in accordance with IRR and EPR documentation and local procedures
- Assist in the day-today quality functions and improvements within the relevant business units of Environmental Science To support the Quality Manager in ensuring compliance across the relevant business units of Environmental Science
- Assist Managers in the implementation of the Quality System in their area and to provide support to Senior Analysts and Analysts in the administration of the system
- Be aware of and conform to the Laboratory Quality system, specifically UKAS (ISO17025) and MCERTS requirements
- Project a professional, courteous image and support the business culture and codes of practice at all times
- Good communication at all levels with good organisational skills
- Client focus and a drive for quality
- High attention to detail
- Good knowledge of Microsoft excel and word
