Extrastaff are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician for a brand new site based in Wellingborough. This is a great opportunity for someone to progress within a busy environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and facilities on site.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise.
• Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from site personnel and address issues in a timely manner.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed and parts used.
• Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for improvement and implement preventive maintenance measures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all.

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role, preferably in a site-based environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment and facilities efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Certification or training in maintenance-related fields is advantageous.
• Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as required.
