Senior Business Analyst - Insurance
An excellent opportunity has arisen with our client, who are a leading player within the Insurance sector. We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to focus on various change projects across the organisation.

  • We are looking for an Insurance Business Analyst who will Support to improve processes across functions such as Product Management, Underwriting, Sales & Distribution, Customer Servicing, Claims Management, etc._

Role & Responsibilities:


  • Conduct workshops with Client's Business & technology SMEs / leadership to understand their needs/problems/challenges
  • Collaborate with Technology teams to develop solutions to address Customer's needs / problems / painpoints and present the same to Clients
  • Create Point of views on trending topics that are of interest to Insurers
  • Create assets/accelerators/frameworks that can leveraged in consulting engagements
  • Experience in identifying and translating business needs into clearly defined requirements
  • Experienced in documenting inclusive of business use cases, process flows, data flows, etc.
  • Plan, facilitate, and conduct requirements gathering sessions, meetings and presentations with clients
  • Lead review sessions for completed business/functional requirements with key business users ensuring consensus gaining and final business approval
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Ensure that proposed solutions are focused on improving efficiency and effectiveness of the business processes and are consistent across products where possible
  • Participate in the development and planning of the User Acceptance Testing activities, including test plans and scripts based on requirements
  • Facilitate UAT execution phase and work with business lead and project manager to obtain user acceptance test signoff
  • Agile projects with user stories, defect management experience using JIRA tool will be an added advantage

Experience Required:


  • Good years of experience in insurance. Operational and/or technology experience would be an advantage
  • Experience of working for an insurer, broker, consulting firm or fintech
  • Industry/

Domain Experience:
Life Insurance, Retirement/Annuity/Pension, Health Insurance, non-life Insurance, Reinsurance or Broking

  • Experience in working with Insurers' technology & Business SMEs
  • Strong client Communication, Interpersonal, Listening skills, Problem-Solving & Consultative mindset
  • Highly Selfmotivated, analytical and ambitious

Package:

- £70K - £85K (Dependent on experience)

  • Annual bonus scheme (£5.5K £6.6K)
