    Electronics Technician - Norfolk - EV
    The company specialises in the development Convertors, Motors, Controllers, and other specialist equipment for a variety of industries.

    The Electronics Technician is an integral part of the Engineering team, responsible for electronics repairs, build & test of electronic & electrical assemblies as required to help develop power systems, motors & motor controllers under direction of the Lead Electronics Engineer.

    The role is fully on site and offer engineers the opportunity to grow and develop within a leading business.
    Negotiable depending on experience

    Working Hours:
    Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, 37 hours per week
    Experience understanding technical documentation and implementation.
    # Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of electronic Engineering.
    # Knowledge of Power Electronics Principles.
    # Experience in failure mode analysis, & V&V testing.
    # Ideally, some experience using PCB Cad Software for viewing designs & locating components (ideally Altium but not essential).

    Soldering and bench assembly of prototype/in house small production & Prototype build.
    Test fixture building and operation.
    Fabrication of parts, cables, and test fixtures.
    First article inspection & testing of received parts.
    Complete any other reasonable tasks identified by the line manager or project manager.
    Spend some time travelling to customers' locations, performing demonstrations, and interfacing with the customer.
