Description

Reed Finance are currently supporting the renewable section of a large international business to recruit for a new Finance Manager to join their Financial Controls team.

Key Duties

Owning all aspects of financial management and control for the project including the month end, half year and year end processes
Preparing and review of both the management and statutory accounts, preparing audit papers as required and ensuring that the accounting policies are compliant with IFRS
Managing, developing and coaching the JV accountants and analysts providing support and leadership as required in respect of technical accounting matters and new and emerging accounting standard impact analysis
Producing presentations / communications on project financial matters for stakeholders as required, including reporting on the construction budget and carrying out analysis of variances and impact of change
Managing the monthly process for drawing down funds from senior lenders and shareholders; engaging with third party project finance lenders where appropriate
Managing tax advisers; coordinate any tax or accounting advice to support needs of the project's commercial and finance teams
Chartered Accountant with a minimum of years PQE
Strong working knowledge of IFRS
Excellent analytical skills
Current management experience with the ability to develop your team
