    A pioneering specialist engineering consultancy, renowned for its excellence in fire safety services within the built environment, is currently seeking a Principal/Associate Fire Engineer to lead their North-West Fire Engineering Team.

    Their services range from strategy design and analysis to audits, external wall safety, risk assessments, and building safety case services, ensuring a safer future through effective consultancy and design collaboration.

    The Principal/Associate Fire Engineer's Role
    The successful Principal/Associate Fire Engineer will take charge of the North-West Fire Engineering Team, playing a crucial role in:
    Overseeing the financial performance, including profit and loss and debt management.
    Ensuring the wellbeing and professional development of team members.
    Maintaining the technical delivery and quality of work produced by the team.
    The Fire Engineering Division is committed to excellence, providing services such as:
    Design and development of fire safety strategies.
    External wall fire safety assessments and remediation.
    Fire engineering analysis and assessments, including computational fluid dynamics and evacuation modelling.
    Fire safety audits, peer reviews, and safety case development.
    Lead business development activities to secure new projects and maintain client relationships.
    Provide technical supervision, guidance, and coaching to junior staff.
    Serve as a key point of contact for clients on projects.
    Work across various sectors including residential, commercial, and industrial.
    The ideal Principal/Associate Fire Engineer will have:
    Proficiency with fire standards such as BS9999, BS9991, BS7974.
    A deep understanding of UK fire safety legislation.
    A proven track record of technical delivery and project management.
    Membership in the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) or equivalent.
    Ambition to achieve or progress towards chartered fire engineer status.
