    Percival are excited to be working exclusively with Empower and Wigan Youth Zones to help them recruit a Data Impact Manager to join a passionate and integrated team. This is a new unique role to be an impact catalyst across both Empower and Wigan Youth Zones, generating support and building towards a data driven culture of impact in both organisations such that outcome measurement and impact reporting becomes routine, informing and shaping all they do.

    Empower Youth Zone is the umbrella charity that oversees operations of the award winning HideOut Youth Zone which has supported over 7,000 children and young people since its opening in 2020, offering a dynamic youth provision. The two Youth Zones sit within the Onside Network.

    Job Title: Empower Data Manager

    Report to: Director of Fundraising and Communications

    Salary: £38,359 – £41,753

    Working Pattern: Full Time, Permanent

    Location: Hybrid, once a week at each site (M12 and WN1)

    The Data Impact Manager leads data analysis and reporting, focusing on enhancing monitoring and evaluation in Salesforce CRM. You will train and support teams to improve data capture and collaborate with Youth Work delivery teams to integrate data into decision-making. This role creates impact reports for leadership, the Board, and fundraising teams, contributing to annual publications like Trustees reports. Additionally, you will align impact and data work with national and local policy, using national census, health, police, and other statistical data to identify new income generation opportunities.

    To be successful in this role, you will:

    • Have demonstrable experience in data analysis or similar, including handling large datasets, working with CRM, using data to derive insights and data-led decision making.
    • Have experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau)
    • Have a strong background in data analysis, with the ability to translate complex technical information into accessible insights for diverse audiences.
    • Be passionate about the values and mission of the Youth Zones
