Summary
The Estates and Campus Services team at St Mary's University is responsible for the buildings and grounds. We are constantly looking to improve both functionality and presentation of the University. The Grounds Department are responsible for the outdoor landscapes.


As a Senior Grounds Person, the individual would be expected to oversee and encourage junior members, plan and execute advanced turf maintenance strategies, troubleshoot and address complex turf issues, implement specialised techniques for turf improvement, coordinate field preparations for various sporting events, collaborate with management to develop long-term maintenance plans, conduct equipment maintenance and repairs, and stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices to ensure the highest standards of sports turf management.

Additionally, they may also be involved in budgeting, resource allocation, and training of junior staff members.


Faculty / Institute / Department:

The Estates Department is responsible for the buildings and grounds. We are constantly looking to improve both functionality and presentation of the University. The Grounds Department is responsible for outside areas including lawns, beds, sport pitches and trees.
