    Description

    Ocean Healthcare are looking for an experienced *Female Healthcare Assistant* to support a 7-year-old girl who lives at home with her mum, dad, and brother in *Brixham*.

    This little girl has Spinal Muscular Atrophy and requires someone who is confident with the following:


    • She is a bright, clever little girl with a great sense of humour. Join our amazing team and help us make a real difference.
    *You will be working 1:1* - This young girl will usually be asleep whilst you are on shift. The ideal candidate would be a seasoned carer with a solid understanding of personal care, and experience with moving and handling.

    • 80 p/hr Monday - Thursday £05 p/hr Saturday - Sunday £05 p/hr Bank Holidays_We offer the option to be paid __Weekly __or __Monthly__

    Shifts:

    • 10pm – 8am, 1-2 Nights Per Week, Holiday/Sickness CoverIt is not essential that you have specific experience working with complex needs as you will get all the training you need. This will involve training and shadowing until one of our nurses is happy to sign you off as competent. Training is paid for.
    *It's vital that we have staff consistency and so you will be required to pick up a minimum number of shifts*. You will be able to pick up more shifts each week if you would like to. Weekday shifts and Weekend shifts are available. While there are lots of work opportunities within Ocean Healthcare, the terms detailed in this job advert are specific ONLY to this package of care. Permanent and bank contracts available. You can work full or part time.

    You must be patient and caring and able to work on your own while providing care as part of a team.
