    BioTalent have partnered with an exciting Cell Therapy company in London to search for an Associate Director of Supply Chain. As the Associate Director of Supply Chain you will be responsible for all site-related supply chain activities including, production planning & scheduling, materials management, raw materials sourcing, logistics, project management, and business systems support.

    You will work with the site Leadership Team and the Global Supply Chain team to assure vertical and horizontal process integration and assure seamless supply of product from vein to vein.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Lead the Production Planning & Scheduling team to manage site planning and production schedules for internal manufacturing activities, validation activities, and maintenance activities.
    • Oversee Materials Management to ensure accuracy in inventory and performance against receipt and distribution metrics.
    • Responsible for site supply planning within global Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process to assure sufficient product supply to support changing demand. Works cross-functionally to identify key supply constraints and develops plans to mitigate.
    • Recommend plans and strategies for continuous improvement in operations and procedures to meet both short and long-term needs and to resolve problems. Develops and implement practices to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of strategic initiatives in production planning and materials management. Leverages existing and implements new systems and processes to improve end to end supply chain efficiencies.

    You will bring the following:

    • Significant industry experience managing operations, manufacturing, or supply chain within biologics or cell/gene therapy industries.
    • Experience working within supply chain functions with proven leadership capability.
    • A background in operations would be highly desirable.
