    Position summary:
    Providing Fleet maintenance depots support to measure, analyse, and improve fleet, process and individual performance.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Achieving fleet performance in line with business objectives
    • Decreasing train failures due to competency issues and recurring defects
    • Implementing streamlined maintenance procedures for enhanced efficiency
    • Formulating resilient strategies for enhancing fleet performance
    • Enhancing the fault detection capabilities of depot production personnel
    • Recording all information relating to fleet performance in various databases as required (Bugle/Trust/XV etc)
    • Identifying and reporting trends and failure modes such that both technical and production teams can make informed decisions based on accurate performance data
    • Investigating, preparing, and providing various performance and safety-related incident reports
    • Supporting the development and management of our client's Fleet Department's inputs and schemes with respect to the Joint Performance Improvement Program (JPIP)
    • Providing engineering expertise for all production activities
    • Supporting and developing production staff through coaching
    • Providing specialist engineering training/mentoring as required
    • Supporting fleet incident management by undertaking on-call duties as required
    • Completion of other activities as directed by the Head of Engineering and Asset Management to support the delivery of our client's objectives
    Ideal Person Profile / Experience (Negotiable):
    • 5+ years of experience in rolling stock
    • Electrostar fleet experience
    • NVQ Level 3/Equivalent
    • Computer literate in Microsoft Office
