The role
As a Section Leader, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Working within the Support Business in the delivery of complex deep maintenance periods for the Royal Navy's Frigates.

Day to day, you'll maintain weapon systems and equipment as well as:

Manage a small team of technicians
Operate and set to work equipment and systems within the section
Identify and rectify defects
Accept equipment from contractors ensuring that all contracted work is complete to the required standard

Essential experience of the Section Leader

You will be a qualified engineering technician with experience working with weapon systems, magazines, hydraulic, pneumatic and control engineering and the ability to generate defect reports and populate information into a maintenance management system.
You will have good engineering standards, a proactive attitude and be agile and adaptable.

This role is full time and based onsite at Devonport

Qualifications for the Section Leader

HNC qualified or equivalent in an engineering specialisation with significant demonstrable experience
