Are you a newly qualified occupational therapist or a Band 5 who would like to explore a more rewarding clinical challenge in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service? We want to recruit an exceptional Occupational Therapist at Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital in Coventry.
Cygnet was established in 1988 as an independent provider of health and social care services in England, Scotland and Wales.

Working Hours:
Full time, Monday to Friday, between 9:00am and 5:00pm.
Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital is a 42 bed hospital specialising in assessment and treatment for children and young people, providing a multi-disciplinary treatment programme designed to support young people to return to their families and the community.
Dragon Ward (Low Secure Unit), Pixie Ward (General Adolescent Unit), Faun Ward and Mermaid Ward (Psychiatric Intensive Care Units).
occupational therapy, psychology, psychiatry, speech and language therapy and social work; offering service users the opportunities and support they need to stabilise their mental health condition and return to the community with a renewed sense of enthusiasm and optimism.
Our occupational therapy department supports young people to engage in meaningful occupations, overcome barriers that prevent them from engaging in meaningful activities and focuses on supporting individuals to develop the skills needed to live a more fulfilling life in the community.
To support with this, we have a full therapy programme that includes a range of self-care, productive and leisure-based activities.
Our occupational therapy pathway has different stages of treatment and the interventions offered will change as our service users' progress through each stage of this pathway.
You will be working alongside the Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist for CAMHS, other occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants.

Occupational Therapy Preceptorship & Induction:We offer an Occupational Therapy 12 month preceptorship programme to support and consolidate core Occupational Therapy Skills.
