What will you be doing?:

We're recruiting for a Team Leader to join our Insomnia Café.

In this exciting and varied role, no two days are ever the same.

A fast paced and fun environment, you'll get to work with an amazing mix of customers and colleagues to brighten your day whilst you master your coffee making and barista skills.

Leading your shift, you will help make sure that the café and the team are organised to deliver the best service and cafe experience to our customers - proactively engaging with the local community.

You'll be working closely with the Café Manager in making sure that; there is a smooth system in place for orders and waste management, assisting with rostering and planning for the café to achieve café targets, and ensuring that cash management and cash procedures are always followed accurately.

You'll be a champion for customer service and always ready to lead by example by building strong relationships with your colleagues.

You'll build expert knowledge of our food and drink range as well as keeping the cafe well stocked, beautifully clean and organised.

This will include behind and in front of the counter, the shop floor, customer and team toilets. You'll also look after the Health and Safety of our customers, colleagues and yourself.

How will I know if I am right for this role?:
If you pride yourself on delivering great service and maintaining high standards, you'll fit seamlessly into this role. We're looking for people that have a positive and enthusiastic attitude to become members of our fantastic team.

Ideally, you'll have at least 2 years Barista experience or 1-year Supervisory experience within a similar environment
- where high standards are maintained by frequent audits and due diligence requirements.
